Are there cancellation fees?Cancellations made two days in advance will not result in a cancellation fee. However, please be aware that if you cancel after 13:00 on the day before your scheduled visit or on the day itself, you will be charged 100% of the regular fee. If you call us before 13:00 the day before of your reservation you will not be charged. What payment method do you accept?Please try to book online with a credit card. However, if you can not ,you may pay at the store but we only accept cash.

Are there any additional charges besides each plan?Kimono rental Hair,makeup,and renting other accessories are not included in the set so you will have to purchase these separately. Photoshoot Up to 3 people can be photographed with the photography plans. Every other person will be an additional $30 Transportation will be paid for by the customer.

Do I need to make a reservation for all the plans?Yes. Please reserve the date and time of your visit by using a reservation form on our site or by calling us at least one day before. We do accept same day reservations if there is an opening; but if possible, we prefer to have our customers make reservations at least a day before.

Do I need to prepare anything in advance?We have everything, including undergarments, socks, sandals, and bags, so you can come empty-handed. Everything is of course included in the price, so there are no additional charges. (In the Winter) We recommend bringing a shirt with a wide neck, leggings, gloves, shawls, etc., as it can get very cold. For women We recommend a non-wire bra or a sports bra.

I'm not sure which plan to choose.We can give you a more detailed explanation about each plan when you visit us. If you would like, you can change your plan on the day.

How much time does it take to get dressed?Depending on your plan , It may take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes for a man and 30 to 40 minutes for a woman. If you choose the hair and make-up option then that will take another 20 to 30 minutes.

Are there any hair accessories?Yes. You can choose one hair accessory to use with your plan. An extra fee will be charged if you would like to get your hair and make-up done by one of the staff members.

Do you have kimonos for tall people?Kimono sizes usually range from 150 cm ~ 175 cm for women and about 165 cm ~ 200 cm for men. We have kimonos in both large and small sizes. However, please understand that for those who are very tall, there are fewer choices and they still may be a little bit short. Also,the maximum waist size is around 100cm.Please consult with us at the time of the reservation.

Can customers leave their belongings while renting the kimono?Yes. We have a storage room in the back of the studio so you can leave your belongings with us(except for valuables)while you tour around the area.

How many kimonos are available?We have a large selection of kimonos on hand at all times from cute to cool, chic, classic, elegant and unique. Feel free to choose the kimono you like best.(The type of kimono you can choose varies with each plan.)

Will it be difficult for me to walk around in a kimono?It may feel a bit different at first but we will make sure that you are comfortable and we will show you the correct way to walk and carry your things. All of our customers have been able to enjoy the day strolling around, so please set your mind at ease. Regarding shoes, if you are to spend the entire day outside, we suggest you bring a nice pair of shoes or boots just in case you don't feel confident in wearing the traditional japanese shoes. Wearing boots with a kimono have become very popular these days with the Japanese people.

Is it possible to still rent a kimono when it is raining?If it's light rain then it is possible. However, in the case that there is heavy rain or a storm then we would suggest to either cancel or change your rental day to another one.

Can I extend the rental period?Yes, as a general rule, it should be returned on the same day. However, you can extend the rental period until the next day until noon for an additional $15.

If something should happen and I can't return the item on the day,what should I do?Please call us first at (080-3107-1500). If you absolutely cannot return the item on the same day, you will be charged a total of $15. In this case, please ensure that the item is returned by noon the following day. If the item is returned after noon the following day then you will be charged twice for your rental plan (depending on the plan you chose).

Do you have kimonos for children?Yes, we do. We have small kimonos with sizes from 90cm to 125cm and small yukatas with sizes from 90cm to 140cm.

What should i do if it is very cold outside?We will provide you with a shawls or a Haori to help you stay warm. We do suggest that you bring gloves, mufflers,Wide-neck long sleeve undershirts, and leggings.

What should I do if it is very hot outside?We have summer kimonos and yukatas available for when it is hot We suggest you wear light under clothing and keep hydrated when you are outside. Using an umbrella or fan is also recommended.

Can I wear a kimono during pregnancy?It can be done but usually the obi belt is tightened around the stomach area and this is not recommended for pregnant mothers. We would suggest placing the obi belt above the stomach or just wear the kimono with a thin belt instead. Please note that we do not assume responsibility for use during pregnancy.

What happens if my kimono gets dirty?In the case of polyester kimonos, we do not charge you for the cleaning fee as these kimonos are easy to wash. However, if there is a tear or mark that cannot be washed out or fixed then we will charge you an extra fee (basic fee is $50). In the case of silk kimonos, we will have to charge an extra fee if the kimono becomes dirty(basic fee is $50). For stains and marks that can not be removed easily, we will have to double the fee. The basic fee is $50 but if the kimono is a furisode then the charge will be more.

When can I receive the photos?You will receive all photos within 7 working days (not including the shooting day) .The photographer will send the retouched photos to you within 7-12 working days (not including the shooting day). If you need the photos immediately you can purchase a USB or SD card from us for an additional price.

How many photos will be included in each photoshoot plan?For a 60-minute plan: 50 or more original photos For a 120-minute plan: 100 or more original photos For a 180-minute plan: 150 or more original photos

Where will the photography session take place?There are three different locations: The studio photoshoot will take place at the studio in Tamatsukuri. The Temple & Shrine photoshoot will take place around Tamatsukuri( the famous samurai area).The main Shrine is Sanadayama Sanko Shrine and the main temple is Kotokuji Juntei-Kannon Temple.These are both very beautiful places where most tourists do not know about. The Osaka Castle photoshoot will be located at the castle and around the area.We will have to take a 5 minute cab ride to get there.

Can I extend the photography session?If there are no reservations afterwards then you will be able to extend your photography session.

If it’s raining or snowing will the photoshoot continue or will it be possible to change the date?It is still possible to continue with the photoshoot on the same day scheduled and you do have the option to change your plan and only have your photoshoot done at the studio.You also have the option to rearrange the date of shooting if the weather is unfavorable, please send an e-mail to drmtruelement@gmial.com to let us know in advance.

Is it possible to take photos after sunset?It will get darker around 4 pm in the winter so the quality of the photographs will not be ideal. We recommend to have the photoshoot during the day while the sun is out.

Is a kimono included in the Photography Session?No,it is not .Please rent your kimono separately.

Is it possible to retouch all the photos?Yes,it is. Please let us know what you would like to have done and we will give you an estimated price.

Can I publish the photos on blogs and SNS sites?Of course ! We would love to see our photos everywhere. Our Instagram's hashtag is #rinnekimono

Is it possible to request an image or a pose that I want to shoot?Of course. Please let us know the image or pose you are thinking about and we will let you know if it is possible.

Can I eat or shop along the way?Yes. It is possible. However, please note that it will also be counted as shooting time.

Can I bring my own shooting props and use them?Yes. But please let us know what you will be bringing in advance.

Do we need to take any form of transportation to the shooting location?Osaka Castle is the only location you will need to take a cab to. All the other shooting locations are in the area. The cab fare will be covered by the customer.

How many people can be photographed in these plans?Up to 3 people can be photographed with the photography plans. Every other person will be an additional $30

Step 1. Make a reservationPlease reserve the date and time of your visit by using a reservation form or by calling us at least one day before. We do accept same day reservations; but if possible, we prefer to have our customers make reservations at least a day before. If you're unsure, you can start with the most affordable plan and adjust it on the day of your visit.

Step 2. Visit the store /StudioPlease come to our studio on the day of your reservation. You don't need to bring anything to pick up your kimono! If you are going to be late due to traffic or other circumstances, please contact us.

Step 3. Choose a kimonoWe have high-quality kimonos ranging from popular antique kimonos to standard Japanese designs. Our wealth of obi belts, accessories, and more lets you enjoy mixing and matching your own outfit.

Step 4. Get dressedOur dressing process takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. You'll be dressed by our professionals and they will make sure you are comfortable so that you can wear the kimono for hours while enjoying your day walking around.

Step 5. Get your hair & Make-Up done (Optional)Choose the hairstyle, accessories,and make-up you like . If you choose one or all of the options, our staff will help you decide which style will best suit you. Have fun choosing hair accessories and makeup colors!

Step 6. Choose accessoriesYou can choose bags and shoes. You can choose the best items to go with your kimono.

Step 7. Walk around and explore the cityYou are now ready to go out. After checking in and storing your belongings, you're all set to explore. From this point until your return time, feel free to enjoy your time as you like—whether it's walking, eating, or anything else. Please enjoy strolling along the streets of Osaka in a beautiful kimono.

Step 8. Return the kimonoCome back by 20:00 the same day and return the kimono. Come back to our shop by 8:00 PM, change back into your clothes, and return your kimono.If you wish to return the kimono the next day by noon, you can do so by paying an additional 1,500 yen. Please inform the staff when you make your reservation.
